Counc]. M,inute~ 4~ 2(7/84 -( <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd) <br />Resolution No. 84-3 introduced by Mrs. Saringer on behalf of the Mayor and the entire <br />Council was given its first reading.. A resolution commending the achievement of the <br />Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of rule requir- <br />ing three readings, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mrs. Saringer moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr, Wilamosky, unanimously approved, Resolution No. 84--3 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84--4 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. A resolu- <br />tion authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for four new <br />police cars to be used by the Police Department; one new car to be used by the Safety <br />Director; one new pick-up truck to be used by the Parks and Recreation Department and <br />one new chassis for Squad 51, to be used by the North Olmsted Fire Department. Re- <br />ferred to Finance Committee, <br />Ordinance No. 84--5 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Walter Drone Company for <br />the purpose of recodifying the ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 846 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance to accept an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water line for <br />the purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to land owned by <br />Great Northern Shopping Center. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-7 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted by <br />prohibiting parking at any time on both sides of Country Club Boulevard, from Victoria <br />Lane to Columbia Road, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Transportation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84.8 Introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted, of a <br />proposed amendment tp the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, relating to the filling <br />of a vacancy in Council, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Legislation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84x9 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />consenting to the maintenance and repair o.f, certain streets and roads by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. Referred to <br />Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer asked if the Charter Review Commission meeting had been scheduled. <br />President Boehmer advised they would be meeting on Tuesday, February 14th, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mrs. Petrigac stated that Community Council had sent a letter to the Mayor with regard <br />to the placing of the newspaper recycling receptacle, asking that it be placed back <br />at the City Hall Complex. After Mrs. Petrigac had talked to the Mayor, he promised <br />that it would be brought back to City Hall in either March or April. Suggested the <br />Envirpnmental Control Committee of Council arrange a meeting with the Mayor to decide <br />the location and designate the first weekend in March or no later than the first weekend <br />in April to have it relocated at City Hall Complex. <br />Mrs. Petrigac discussed the list of repairs or improvements needed at the Community <br />Cabin which was presented by Community Council last Fall. Is afraid that the <br />Town Club, which donated a sizeable amount of money in the past, is going to withdraw <br />their support. President Boehmer asked Mrs. Petrigac to take this under advisement in <br />her committee. <br />
