Council Minutes of 12/5/85 -4- <br />Mrs. Jean Beck, 5409 Dorothy Drive, reminded council of the October 22nd <br />meeting when the non-enforcement of the Zoning Code was discussed. What is <br />council going to do so that every ordinance within the Zoning Code is en- <br />forcable? President Boehmer advised that he was looking into. the lighting <br />ordinance; other sections will be discussed. Law Director advised that since <br />the adoption of the ordinance dealing with the Architectural Review Board, <br />the development plans, as approved by ARB, Planning Commission and this <br />council, must be maintained as approved. <br />Mrs. Gemma Szabo, 30837 Bradley Road, asked when the steps behind the Community <br />Cabin would be fixed; this situation is afire hazard because the rear entrance <br />cannot be used. City Engineer advised that he thought the repair would be made <br />as part of the new improvements to the Cabin next year being funded by Community <br />Development Block Grant monies. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 84-104 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted <br />to provide for the installation of two "No Turn On Red - 7:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. <br />and 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M., Monday through Friday" signs. at the intersection of <br />Lorain and Clague Roads, thereby controlling traffic traveling east and westbound <br />on Lorain Road. Mr. O'Grady moved Council table Ordinance No. 84-104, second by <br />Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-104 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 85-38 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 351.18 of Chapter 351 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />North Olmsted entitled "Parking Generally", to provide for an increase penalty for <br />violating Section 351.20, entitled "Handicapped Parking". Mrs. Petrigac moved <br />to amend Ordinance No. 85-38 by inserting a new Section 3 which would read "This <br />ordinance shall be in force from and after February 1, 1986" and renumbering present <br />Section 3 to read "Section 4", second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 85-38 amended and will be placed back on second reading, as amended, <br />at the next regular council meeting on December 17, 1985; Mrs. Petrigac indicated <br />that at that time she would ask for suspension of rule requiring three readings. <br />Ordinance No. 85-116 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />main for the purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to the <br />Christ the King Community, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-116 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-117 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />main for the purpose of circulating water by the City of Cleveland to the Christ <br />the King Community, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-117 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-118 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a sanitary sewer easement located on property occupied by <br />the Great Northern Technology Park Building, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. Rademaker, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 85-118 adopted. <br />i <br />
