Council Minutes of 12/5/85 <br />-5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />pr Ordinance No. 85-121 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to extend <br />the existing agreement with BFI for a one (1) year period for refuse pickup <br />within the City, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, <br />second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-121 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-90 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance designating Porter Road, from Lorain Road north to the North Olmsted <br />municipal corporation line, as a residential street rather than a through highway <br />and also establishing a 25 miles per hour speed limit, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved Council table Ordinance No. 84-90, second by Mrs. Saringer, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-90 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 85-122 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and <br />accept bids for the rewiring of the North Olmsted Community Cabin, as detailed <br />in the rewiring of the North Olmsted Community Cabin specifications on file, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an urgency. <br />Mrs. Petrigac moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 85-122 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-123 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance designating that portion of relocated Route 252, which lies be- <br />tween Country Club Boulevard on the north and Butternut Ridge Road on the south, <br />as "Great Northern Boulevard". <br />Resolution No. 85-124 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution approving the "Umbrella Non-Profit Corporation" concept proposed by <br />the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for obtaining Section 16(b) (2) <br />funding for the purchase of paratransit vehicles and indicating a willingness and <br />desire on the part of the City of North Olmsted to secure a seat on the policy <br />board of said corporation. <br />Ordinance No. 85-125 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted <br />to establish no parking on the cul-de-sac of Shelley Drive. <br />Ordinance No. 85-127 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a <br />water main for the purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland <br />to the Jamestown Village Apartments (Phase VI), and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council amend Ordinance No. 85-129, prior to second reading, <br />by including in Section 1, "Ameritrust and Central National Bank", thereby adding <br />two potential depositories for municipal funds, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. <br />Ordinance No. 85-129, introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of <br />public monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for <br />the active and interim accounts of the city, as amended. <br />~....~.~ _ ~, _...re , <br />1 <br />
