Council :Minutes of ~.2/S/85 <br />-6- <br />~~~~~ LEGISLATION (cont' d) : <br />Resolution No. 85-132 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget <br />Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the <br />County Auditor. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 85-132 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-130 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />A resolution directing the auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 1986 all tax money due and owing said city <br />from any collection source. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 85-130 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-131 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance granting the Ohio Bell Telephone Company a perpetual right-of-way <br />and easement across Permanent Parcel No. 234-013-008 owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, in order to install, construct, reconstruct, operate, <br />maintain, repair, supplement and remove underground communication systems to <br />provide telephone service to the Christ the King Community Development, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-133 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-134 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer stated that in the absence of Mayor Swietyniowski, she moved to <br />reappoint Mr. Chester Remmel as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on.motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Petrigac, <br />Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Bierman, Rademaker. 5 Aye - 2 Nay - <br />Motion carried. Mrs. Petrigac stated that if this policy of making appointments <br />for all the boards and commissions for terms expiring this month was going to <br />continue, she would definitely like to be consulted since she will have some <br />suggestions to replace or reappoint these people. Mrs. Saringer stated that this <br />is the only one she is aware of at this time. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked if a current review of the city's transit needs, specifically <br />in the area of bus shelters, was being undertaken at this time. Service Director <br />Corrigan replied that a list had been submitted to RTA and he received word this <br />week that two shelter locations have been approved; will report to council at the <br />next meeting with the letter and the locations. <br />Finance Director Boyle requested that Ordinance Nos. 85-130 and 85-132 be de- <br />livered to the County Auditor, by courier, tomorrow. <br />
