~~ ~ ~ <br />Council Minutes of 10/1/85 -5- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 85-92 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance adopting the 1985 Codified Ordinances, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 85-92 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-102 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all hourly employees <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-103 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given. its first reading. <br />An ordinance declaring an intention to issue Industrial Developnment Revenue <br />Bonds, authorizing execution of agreement with Don and Doris Schmidt and Alan <br />and Pauline Kaserman, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, <br />second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-103 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-104 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing working conditions and benefits to be paid to the <br />employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-105 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first <br />reading. A resolution to provide for the award of $4,000,000 Sanitary Sewerage <br />System Improvement Bonds, $3,050,000 Municipal Building Bonds, $480,000 Street <br />Improvement Bonds, Series 1985, $350,000 Equipment Bonds, $120,000 Department of <br />Public Safety Equipment Bonds and $75,000 Telephone Equipment Bonds, and declar- <br />ing an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 85-105 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-106 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 85-71 entitled, "an ordinance establishing <br />rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative personnel for <br />the year 1985, and declaring an emergency", by correcting various portions <br />thereof, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-107 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to resurface the existing pavement and perform miscellaneous work <br />items on that portion of SR 252 (Columbia Road) within the City of North Olmsted, <br />from SR 10 (Lorain Road) to the North Olmsted north corporation line. Total <br />length being 1.15 miles more or less. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of rule <br />requiring three readings and referral to committee, second by Mrs. Saringer, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 85-107 adopted. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Transportation Committee Meeting for Wednesday night, <br />October 2nd, at 7 o'clock and requested Director Copeland to be in attendance. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for Thursday, October 24th, at <br />7:30 P.M., and requested Building Commissioner Gundy and City Engineer Schaller <br />to be in attendance. <br /> <br />
