Council Minutes of 7/16/85 _4_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 85-51 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance creating a Capital Improvement Fund entitled "Infrastructure Fund", <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved to table Ordinance No. 85-51, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote:0'Grady, Tallon, <br />Wilamosky. Negative vote: Bierman, Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer. 3 Aye - <br />4 Nay - Motion defeated. Mr. Bierman moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer. <br />Negative vote: O'Grady, Ta11on,~Wilamosky. 4 Aye - 3 Nay - Motion carried. Ordin- <br />ance No. 85-51 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. $5-67 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted <br />of a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted relating to the <br />establishment within the Department of Human Resources, A Division of Aging, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mra. Saringer. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac, Saringer, <br />Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Rademaker. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. <br />Ordinance No. 85-67 adopted. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked that the record show that her "aye" vote on Ordinance No. 85-67 <br />should not be interpreted as support of the legislation; her vote was to take this <br />out of the political arena; she does support giving it to the electorate and letting <br />them make the decision. <br />Resolution No. 85-69 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />diesel fuel and gasoline, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 85-69 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-71 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the year 1985, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: <br />Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac, Rademaker, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Saringer. <br />6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 85-71 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-77 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform <br />personnel of the Police Department, together with salaries :and various benefits <br />for said employees, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. .Ordinance No. 85-77 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-73 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 82-84, entitled "An .ordinance <br />amending Section 1501.1901 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North .Olmsted, <br />entitled "Tax Credit" of Chapter .1501.19, entitled "Tax Payers Relief", and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 85-74 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 901..09 of the Codified Ordinances <br />entitled, "Barriers and Warning Devices", and declaring an emergency.. <br />Ordinance No. 85-84 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a supplemental agr~?ement with the con- <br />sulting firm of Dalton, Dalton, Newport for the design of improvements to the North <br />Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an emergency. <br />
