Council Minutes of 5/21./85 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 85-41 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and <br />accept bids for the construction of storm sewers and roadside drainage improvements <br />along Butternut Ridge Road from the Lorain Road intersection eastward to the westerly <br />terminus of the Dover Center Road Project as detailed in the Butternut Ridge Road <br />Drainage Improvement Project Plans, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Resolution No. 85-41 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-42 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the Sanitary Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation Program Phase A - <br />manhole rehabilitation throughout the city as described in plans and specifications <br />on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Rademaker moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 85-42 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-43 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and to request cooperation <br />by the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Transportation, State of Ohio, as <br />amended, in the grading, draining and paving of Clague Road from Mastick Road to <br />the North Olmsted north corporation line. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-43 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-44 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise and accept <br />bids for sewer metering services on sanitary sewers throughout the city as part of <br />the Sewer System Rehabilitation Program, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Rademaker <br />moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />85-44 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-45 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with. the North Olmsted <br />Fire Fighters Local 1267 I.A.F.F., which agreement is the collective bargaining <br />agreement between the city and the North Olmsted Fire Department, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 85-45 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-151 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the City Engineer and/or the Building Commissioner to permit <br />and allow the temporary disconnection of roof downspouts from the main sewer and <br />splash down of roof water directly upon the ground, and granting a temporary <br />suspension of Section 917.02 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, and declar- <br />ing an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-48 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31st, 19$5, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 85-50 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />main for the purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to the <br />7515 Company's Subdivision No. 2, and declaring an emergency. <br />i <br />
