Council Minutes of 5/21/85 <br />-7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 85-51 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating a Capital Improvement Fund entitled "Infrastructure Fund", <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-52 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance creating a Capital Improvement Fund entitled "Recreation Capital <br />Improvements", and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-53 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-54 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-55 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the improvement of the Gessner Road pavement and roadside areas from the <br />Lorain Road intersection westward to the Walter Road intersection, as detailed <br />in the Gessner Road Project specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Streets and Drainage <br />Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-56 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the improvement of the Barton Road pavement and roadside areas from the <br />Lorain Road intersection northwest to the city limits, as detailed in the Barton <br />Road Project specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-57 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for. and accept <br />bids for the repair and resurfacing of streets in Olmsted Colony Subdivision, in- <br />cluding Holly Drive, Aspen Drive, Spruce Drive, Magnolia Drive, Elder Drive, <br />Cypress Drive and Maplehurst Road, as detailed in the Olmsted Colony Subdivision <br />pavement plans, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. Referred to Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-58 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or <br />removal of tl-:e detached garage located at 5803 Stearns Road, in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Safety Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-59 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution urging Thomas Neff, Cuyahoga County Engineer to direct the contractor <br />on Dover Center Road Project to communicate with the residents and businesses on <br />Dover Center Road when any services in that area are going to be interrupted as a <br />result of the aforesaid project, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved <br />for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved.
