Council Minutes of 5/7/85 -5- LEGISLATION (cont'd): Ordinance No. 85-37 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the sale of surplus personal property owned by the City of North Olmsted and previously used by the Department of Public Service, and de- claring an emergency. Ordinance No. 85-38 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Section 351.18 of Chapter 351 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Parking Generally", to provide for an increased penalty for violating Section 351.20, entitled "Handicapped Parking". Ordinance No. 85-39 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Chapter 549 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Weapons and Explosives", by adding a new Section 549.14, entitled "Sale, Possession and Use of Stun Guns", and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 85-40 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Chapter 941 of the Codified Ordinances, entitled "Garbage and Rubbish", by creating new and revised Section 941.08, entitled "Regulation of Placing of Garbage or Rubbish in Setback, Right-of-way, and Other Areas Abutting Public Streets". Resolution No. 85-41 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the construction of storm sewers and roadside drainage improvements along Butternut Ridge Road from the Lorain Road intersection east- ward to the westerly terminus of the Dover Center Road project as detailed in the Butternut Ridge Road Drainage Improvement Project plans, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 85-42 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the Sanitary Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation Program Phase A - manhole rehabilitation throughout the City as described in plans and specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- claring an emergency. Ordinance No. 85-43 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and to request cooperation by the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Transportation, State of Ohio, in the grading, draining and paving of Clague Road from Mastick Road to the North Olmsted North Corporation Line, as amended. Resolution No. 85-44 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise and accept bids for sewer metering services on sanitary sewers throughout the City as part of the Sewer System Rehabilitation Program, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 85-45 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted Fire Fighters Local 1267 I.A.F.F., which agreement is the collective bargaining agreement between the City and the North Olmsted Fire Department, and declaring an emergency.
