Council Minutes of 4/16/85 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-110 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted <br />to establish no stopping or parking zones on the fire hydrant sides of Dogwood <br />Trail, Linwood Circle and Forestwood Parkway. <br />Ordinance No. 85-33 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted <br />to establish no parking on Nantucket Drive, from Revere Drive to the cul-de-sac, <br />including the cul-de-sac. <br />Ordinance No. 85-34 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an <br />agreement with an architect, for the purpose of renovation of the North Olmsted <br />Community Cabin, not to exceed $3,000.00, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 85-35 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given. its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for a <br />water coolant tower for the North Olmsted Recreation Center, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certifi- <br />cate with respect to Ordinance No. 85-36, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. <br />Ordinance No. 85-36 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $5,315,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of paying costs of improving and expanding <br />the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-36 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-37 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the sale of surplus personal property owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted and previously used by the Department of Public Service, and declaring an <br />emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-38 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 351.18 of Chapter 351 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted, entitled "Parking Generally", to provide for an increased <br />penalty for violating Section 351.20, entitled "Handicapped Parking". Referred to <br />Transportation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-39 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 549 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Weapons and Explosives", by adding a new Section 549.14 en- <br />titled "Sale, Possession and Use of Stun Guns", and declaring an emergency. Re- <br />ferred to joint Safety and Legislation Committees. <br />Ordinance No. 85-40 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 941 of the Codified Ordinances, entitled "Garbage and <br />Rubbish", by creating new and revised Section 941.08, entitled "Regulation of <br />Placing of Garbage or Rubbish in Setback, Right-of-way, and Other Areas Abutting <br />Public Streets". Referred to Environmental Control Committee. <br />
