Knowing what the child was wearing, keeping current dental records, <br />utilizing a Child Find booklet and keeping it current will assist law enforce- <br />ment agencies. Further discussion of this program will be undertaken on April <br />15th, at 3 P.M., at the North Olmsted Police Department. <br />2) Has requested the Safety Director to institute a traffic survey of Porter Road <br />for the purpose of determining the feasibility of reducing the speed to 25 miles <br />per hour; Mr. Petre has already taken this matter under consideration. <br />Mrs. Petrigac, Chairman Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee as well <br />as Transportation Committee reported: 1) Landmarks Commission met on March 21st <br />and discussed the Community Council report on the renovation of Community Cabin. <br />Since the Community Cabin is listed on the Ohio Historical Society's inventory, <br />any renovation should be in keeping with this designation. Will be scheduling a <br />combined Recreation/Long Range Planning Committee meeting, with Landmarks <br />Commission and Community Council members. Members of the Landmarks Commission <br />are presently involved in a preliminary visual survey of pre-1920 buildings. <br />Mr. Tallon, Chairman Building, Zoning and Development Committee reported: 1) BZD <br />Committee met on Thursday, March 28th. Mrs. Petrigac sat on the committee. <br />The first order of business were the Building Department requests. <br />a. Biskind Development Corporation, preliminary plans to construct <br />a motel in a mixed use district on the south side of Country Club Boulevard. The <br />plans were reviewed and a few minor changes noted and approved as presented. <br />Mr. Tallon moved Council approve the preliminary plans as stated above, second by <br />Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. <br />b. Great Northern Theatre., proposal to construct an addition to <br />the rear of the present building. The first part of the proposal is the con- <br />struction of the addition to the rear of the building. Proposal was addressed <br />by Planning Commission and ARB. The Fire Department had five requests which the <br />developer agreed to meet. ARB had a request that the dumpsters be penned in <br />brick and that eight trees be planted along the rear of the building. Committee <br />approved the proposal. Mr. Tallon moved Council approve the proposed addition <br />as stated above, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />b.(1) Great Northern Theatre, vacation of an existing sanitary <br />sewer easement and a relocation easement. This was the second part of the pro- <br />posal. Terms for this have to be worked out and legislation drawn up; will be <br />forthcoming in the near future. <br />c. North Olmsted United Methodist Church, 4600 Dover Center Road, <br />special permit was granted by Board of Zoning Appeals on March 6, 1985, for a <br />2,700 square foot addition for classrooms and meeting spaces. Committee approved <br />the plans as presented. Mr. Tallon moved Council approve proposed addition plans <br />as presented, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />d. Mr. Carburetor, 24002 Lorain Road, proposal to construct an <br />addition approximately 1,200 square feet to the rear of the existing building. <br />Building Department noted that the cinder driveway would have to be covered and <br />paved. Committee approved the plans as presented. Mr. Tallon moved Council <br />approve the proposed addition as stated above, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously <br />approved. <br />e. North Olmsted Industrial Park, preliminary plans. Approved by <br />committee.
