Council Minutes of 3/19/85 -5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 85-21 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or removal <br />of the detached barn on Permanent Parcel No. 231-19-5 at 3691 Columbia Road, in the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-22 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordn- <br />ance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the deffiolition or removal <br />of the detached barn/garage on Permanent Parcel No. 231-31-6 at 24263 Lorain Road, <br />in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-23 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or <br />removal of the three (3) detached structures on Permanent Parcel No. 234-10-3 at <br />30993 Lorain, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 85-24 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the achievement <br />of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mrs. Petrigac moved for suspension of rule <br />requiring three readings, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mrs. Petrigac <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />85-24 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-25 introduced by Mr~a. Saringer was given its first reading. A <br />resolution opposing the proposed Motor Vehicle Emissions Inspection and Maintenance <br />Program for the State of Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 85-26 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. A <br />resolution urging General Motors to locate its Saturn Division in Ohio, and further <br />urging it give Cuyahoga County preferable consideration. <br />Resolution No. 85-27 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of City Streets and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-28 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,500 gallons of highway and crosswalk paint for use by the Service Department <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-29 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for 500 cubic <br />yards of concrete, including removal, disposal and replacement, for Service De- <br />partment road repair needs and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and <br />declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-30 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for various <br />reflective traffic sign and roadway marking materials for use by the Service De- <br />partment, and. authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-31 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />
