<br />Council Minutes of 10/7/86 -7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 86-91 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Ordinance No. 86-91 as follows: Section 1, <br />"Asphalt - Current $19,500, Increased -0-, Decreased $400, Revised $19,100; <br />Building Department, Clerk - Current $24,000, Increased -0-, Decreased $1,600, <br />Revised $22,400; Building Commissioner - Current $25,577, Increased -0-, <br />Decreased $1,000, Revised $24,577. Total $12,000", second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, as amended, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 86-91 adopted as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 86-92 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 1213.04 of the Zoning Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled, "Improvements of Parking Areas" of Chapter 1213, entitled <br />"Detailed Requirements". Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Resolution No. 86-93 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution supporting the Greater Cleveland School Superintendents Associa- <br />tion and promoting Project Care which is a program designed. to reduce chemical <br />abuse through education. Mr. Lackey moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />referral to committee, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Lackey <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring .three readings, second by Mr. .O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Lackey moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Resolution No. 86-93 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-94 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. A <br />resolution calling on Governor Richard F. Celeste to take all necessary steps <br />to permanently close the Perry Nuclear Power Plant and the Davis-Besse Nuclear <br />Power Plant. Referred to Environmental Control. Committee. <br />Resolution No. 86-95 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. A <br />resolution urging our state legislature to enact a Bottle and Can Deposit Law <br />for the State of Ohio in order to help alleviate litter and keep Ohio beautiful, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-96 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given i.ts first reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of .the City of North .Olmsted to <br />provide a "No Right Turn On Red" sign at .the intersection. of Brookpark Road and <br />Lorain Road thereby controlling traffic traveling in a westerly direction.. making <br />right turns at said intersection.. <br />Resolution No. 86-97 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given. its first reading. <br />A resolution urging the Congress of the United States to adopt legislation. <br />eliminating the "notch" in the Social Security System, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well. as <br />referral to committee, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved, Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved.
