Council Minutes of 9/2/86 -6- <br />Audience participation (cont'd): <br />Myron Young, 30879 South Court, commented that his lot backs up to a 305 foot <br />CEI easement, behind which is a 45 acre Industrial Parkway. CEI is not fulf filling <br />its obligation of cutting the grass and weeds; they are now over three feet high. <br />They did cut twice in 1984 and once last year but so far this year they have done <br />nothing. President Woerpel assured Mr. Young that the Service Director would <br />look into his complaint immediately. <br />Before moving into legislation, President Woerpel noted the Mrs. Lois Debrodt was <br />seated in the audience and took time to publicly thank her and all of Community <br />Council on a fine, fine "Treemendous Homecoming" celebration. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 86-67 introduced by Mr. Lackey was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance designating and establishing Butternut Ridge Road, located in the City <br />of North Olmsted, as a historical district. <br />Resolution No. 86-69 introduced by the Mayor and the entire Council was given its <br />second reading. A resolution commending the achievement of the Eagle Scout Award <br />in Boy Scouting. <br />Ordinance No. 86-76 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. Mr. Rademaker <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll <br />call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Rademaker, Saringer. Negative vote: <br />Lackey, McKay, Tallon, Wilamosky. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion failed. <br />Ordinance No. 86-77 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Saringer. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote; Lackey, McKay, O'Grady, Saringer, Tallon, <br />Wilamosky. Negative vote: Rademaker. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />86-78 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-79 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 7 of Ordinance No. 86-36 titled "An ordinance establishing <br />rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative personnel, and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended" by providing for the inclusion in said section <br />of the position of "Pre-Treatment Personnel", and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-79 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-80 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading.
