~J <br />~' Council Minutes of 6/3/86 -6- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 86-37 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />` in matter of ,the hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation <br />of the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Transportation, State of Ohio, <br />for the repair and resurfacing of Lewis Road Bridge No. 20 over the west branch <br />of the Rocky River. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 86-37 adopted, <br />Ordinance No. 86-38 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved, Ordinance No. <br />86-38 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-41 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31 ,1986. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr, Tallon, unanimously DISAPPROVED. Ordinance No. <br />86-41 NOT ADOPTED. <br />Ordinance No. 86-43 introduced by Mr. Lackey was given its second reading, An <br />ordinance amending Section 165.03 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled, "Landmarks Commission: Creation, Composition and Tetras" and the <br />creation of a new Section 165.06 entitled, "Designation of Landmarks District" <br />both of Chapter 165 entitled, "Landmarks Commission", as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 86-44 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading, An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 729 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled, "Self-Service Auto Wash" by adding thereto a new Section 729.06 <br />entitled, "Business Regulation Code". <br />Ordinance No. 86-45 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing a new Chapter 747 entitled, "Admissions Tax" of Part 7 <br />of the Codified Ordinances entitled, "Business Regulation Code". <br />Ordinance No. 86-46 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that the Clerk of Council submit the Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate with respect to Ordinance No. 86-47, second by Mr. Tallon, unani- <br />mously approved, Clerk of Council presented Fiscal Officer's Certificate, <br />Ordinance No. 86-47 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $100,000 notes in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving Lorain Road (State Route 10} <br />between certain termini, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the <br />State of Ohio, by resurfacing with asphaltic concrete and reconstructing the <br />pavement base, curbs and sidewalks, where necessary, together with all necessary <br />appurtances thereto, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No, 86-48 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. <br />A resolution expressing to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of the United <br />States the opposition of the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the <br />application of Toledo Edison Company for permission to bury radioactive sludge <br />at its Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. <br />Lackey, unanimously approved.
