Council Minutes of 5/7/86 _5_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 86-32 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 10,000 gallons of polymer for use by the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment <br />Facilities Plant, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 86-33 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />A resolution approving the final county-wide 911 Plan. <br />Ordinance No, 86-34 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading, <br />An ordinance establishing a new Chapter 745 entitled "Hotel and Motel Tax" of <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-36 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 86-37 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An <br />emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />in matter of the hereinafter described improvement: the repair and resurfacing <br />of Lewis Road Bridge No. 21 ouer the west branch of the Rocky River, and re- <br />questing the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Trans- <br />portation, State of Ohio. Referred to Streets and Drainage Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 86-38 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1986. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 86-39 introduced by the Mayor and the entire Council was given <br />its first reading. A resolution supporting the Cleveland Indians remaining <br />in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 86-39 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 86-40 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />Final resolution adopting plans; proposing to cooperate; requesting director to <br />proceed with two lane resurfacing on State Route No. 252 (Columbia Roads within <br />the City of North Olmsted, from State Route No. 10 (Lorain Road) to the North <br />Olmsted north corporation line; total length of work being approximately 1.15 <br />miles. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well <br />as referral to committee, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Reso- <br />lution No. 86-40 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-41 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 198b. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 86-42 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was-given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform <br />personnel of the Police Department, together with salaries and various benefits <br />for said employees, and declaring an emergency. Referred to both Safety and <br />Finance Committees. <br />
