An <br />ordinance providing for the renumbering of Codified Ordinance Section 351.15 <br />entitled "Handicapped Parking" to Section 351.20 which was the previous designated <br />section prior to recodif ication, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-3 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1217..08 of the Zoning Code entitled "Review Procedures <br />of Applications" of Chapter 1217 entitled "Architectural Review Board". <br />Ordinance No. 86-4 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-5 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all hourly employees <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 86-7 introduced by Mr. Rademaker was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the sale of six buses owned by the City of North Olmsted, <br />and declaring an emergency. Referred to Transportation Committee. <br />Resolution No. 86-8 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution indicating the desire and intent of the City of North Olmsted to con- <br />tinue participation with government surplus food distribution program and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee. <br />Resolution No. 86-9 introduced by Mr. Rademaker was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />five new police cars to be used by the Police Department. Referred to Trans- <br />portation Committee. <br />Resolution No. 86-10 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution urging the Cleveland Water Department to extend a 16-inch water line <br />westward from the Fitch Road supply main to the western end of the City of North <br />Olmsted and northward along Barton Road, tying into the existing Barton Road <br />water main, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 86-10 adopted. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />Mr. McKay commented on receiving a number of phone calls with respect to the <br />plowing of Mitchell, the first street north of Brookpark, off of Columbia Road. <br />The calls were to complain that the service crews were only plowing the road <br />about half of the way down the street. After he had contacted the Service De- <br />partment, the entire street was cleared. However, after this last snowfall, <br />the street was again only partially cleared. Requested the Mayor to look into <br />the situation and see if there was a problem with plowing the entire street. <br />Mayor responded that she would indeed check this out and report back to Mr. McKay <br />with any information she could find. <br />
