<br />and recommends a few changes.. Mr. Wilamosky moved Council approve the amend-
<br />,'", ments to Ordinance No. 87-126 as follows: General Administration, add a line
<br />item, "Vacation and Retirement" and increase current amount by $600; Service
<br />Department, add "Animal Control" and increase by $50; Building Department,
<br />Organization and Travel,. increase by $150; Law Department, Board of Revision
<br />Cases, increase by $2,000; Other Legal, increase by $3,000; Fire Department,
<br />Pension, increase by $9,500; Engineering, Wages, decrease by $15,000; Engineering,
<br />Consultant, increase by $11,500; Engineering Department, Overtime, increase by
<br />$450; Hydrant Repair, Labor, increase by $1,200; Fire Department, Equipment Re-
<br />pair, increase by $1,300; Traffic Signal Repair, decrease by $3,896, second by
<br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved.
<br />3) Committee also discussed Ordinance No. 87-127; Mr. Wilamosky moved Council
<br />approve an amendment to this amendment as follows: insert "Crumbley versus
<br />Swietyniowski etal, Payroll Settlement", second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved.
<br />4) Committee also requested Budget and Management Director and Finance Director to
<br />prepare transfer for the Treatment Plant; this request is reflected in Ordinance
<br />No. 87-137 and 87-138; committee has no objection.
<br />5) Co~nittee discussed the intent of Ordinance No. 87-132 which authorizes the
<br />administration to enter into contracts with various lending institutions for de-
<br />posits of city monies and committee has no objection.
<br />6) Committee discussed Ordinance No. 87-131 and has some recoBmnendations with re-
<br />spect to amendments. Mr. Wilamosky move Council approve the amendments to Ordin-
<br />ance No. 87-131 as follows: Page One, add "Assistant Clerk of Council" in the
<br />amount of $150; "City Planner" in the amount of $6,000; Page Five, "Vacation and
<br />Retirement to read $2,000 and General Fund. Subtotal to read $2,072,810; Recreation
<br />Fund, add a line item "Vacation and Retirement" for $1,000 and a change in the
<br />total to read $274,515. and the total of all funds to read $5,159,595, second by
<br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved.
<br />7) Committee did go into executive session to discuss some of the language with
<br />respect to .the ordinance which deals with the implementation of the PERS pickup;
<br />will be scheduling another meeting to discuss this ordinance in a little more depth.
<br />LEGISLATION:
<br />Resolution No. 87-119 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. A
<br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for
<br />250 tons of cinders and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring
<br />an emergency, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend the resolution to read,
<br />"Janet A. Saringer, President of Council". second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously
<br />approved. Resolution No. 87-119 amended and placed back on second reading.
<br />Ordinance No. 87-121 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An
<br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by pro-
<br />viding for the installation of a "No Parking Between 8 A.M. and 4 P.M., Monday
<br />Through Friday, School Days Only" sign on the south side of Southern Avenue between
<br />McKenzie and Burns Roads. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon,
<br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-121 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 87-123 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. An
<br />Ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for
<br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Wilamosky.
<br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon,
<br />unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon,
<br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-123 adopted.
