Council Minutes of 12/1/87 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 87-113 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance increasing the Senior Center Petty Cash Fund from Two Hundred <br />Dollars ($200.00) to Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00). Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-113 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-114 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga <br />County General Health District for the year 1988, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 87-114 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-115 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />line for the purpose of supplying fire protection by the City of Cleveland to <br />land owned by the Great Northern Shopping Center Partnership, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 87-115 adopted. Mr. Wilamosky explained that his "yes" <br />vote was predicated on the fact that the City of North Olmsted is not going to <br />be responsible for the maintenance, repair or replacement of the hydrants. <br />Ordinance No. 87-116 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to change <br />the "no right turn on red" sign at Clague Road and 1480 to read "no right turn on <br />red from 7:00 A.M. until 6:30 P.M.", and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Lackey, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 87-116 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-117 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution in support of H.B. 428, the Hazardous Material Transportation Bill. <br />Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mr. Lackey, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 87-117 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-118 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />365,000 pounds of powdered carbon a year for two years, for use by the North <br />Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plant, and declaring an emergency.. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption,. second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 87-118 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-50 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />overhead traffic sign poles and foundations, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved to table, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Resolution <br />No. 87-50 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 87-119 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />250 tons of cinders, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No, 87-120 introduced by Mayor Petrigac. was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987, as amended. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved.
