Council Minutes of 11/17/87 -7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 87-109 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a <br />water line for the purpose of circulating water service by the City of Cleveland <br />through land owned by Westside Land Company, Sunrise Development Company, Milton <br />A. Wolf and Harlan E. Sherman, Trustee, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Ordinance <br />No. 87-109 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-112 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the sale of surplus personal property owned by the <br />City of North Olmsted and previously used by the Department of Public Service, <br />the Safety Department and the Recreation Complex, and declaring an emergency, <br />as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 87-113 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance increasing the Senior Center Petty Cash Fund from .Two Hundred <br />Dollars to Three Hundred Dollars. <br />Resolution No. 87-114 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga <br />County General Health District for the year 1988, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 87-115 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />line for the purpose of supplying fire protection by the City of Cleveland to <br />land owned by the Great Northern Shopping Center Partnership, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 87-116 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to change <br />the "no right turn on red" sign at Clague Road and 1480 to read, "no right turn on <br />red from 7:00 A.M. until 6:30 P.M.", and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 87-117 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />A resolution in support of H.B. 428, The Hazardous Material Transportation Bill. <br />Resolution No. 87-118 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />365,000 pounds of powdered carbon a year for two years for use by the North Olmsted <br />Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plant, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 87-119 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />1,000 tons of cinders, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-120 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance appropriating the sum of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars from <br />the Capital Improvements Fund and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agree- <br />ment with Michael Benza and Associates to perform the preliminary. engineering to <br />reconstruct Porter Road, from Lorain Road to the Westlake Corporation line <br />(approximately one mile), and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />
