Council Minutes of 7/7/87 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 87-66 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Budget and Management to advertise for bids <br />for multi-line liability, property and catastrophe insurance covering the off icials, <br />members of council, employees and members of the boards and commissions of the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension <br />of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. <br />Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-66 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-67 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring .three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bohlmann, <br />Lackey, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: McKay. 5 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion <br />carried. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann. Roll call on <br />motion: Affirmative vote: Bohlmann, Lackey, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative <br />vote: McKay. Mr. McKay explained his "no" vote by stating that he did not believe <br />in approving a study when the city had no firm financial funding to initiate the <br />project. 5 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. An <br />ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform personnel <br />of the Police Department, together with salaries and various benefits for said <br />employees, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 87-71 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. A <br />resolution accepting for recording purposes only. the Bradley Oak Estates Sub- <br />division Plat in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-72 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a new Chapter 1503 in the Tax Code of the Codified Ordin- <br />ances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Lottery Tax". Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-73 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading.
