<br />Council Minutes of,~/6/87 -5- <br />Audience participation: <br />Ronald Obed, Ron Dobson, Dick Hanrahan, and. Gene Rech all spoke of the deplorable <br />condition of their street - Sunset Oval. Tree lawns are also plagued with loose <br />cold patch, concrete chips, sections of grass missing. Service Director advised <br />no money had been provided for the purchase of grass seed. President Saringer <br />advised that council was concerned with all the streets in North Olmsted; many <br />need repairs; council will continue to work toward a resolution of the problem. <br />Mr. Lackey stated that with the possibility of a tax issue coming up, he would <br />like to see council prioritize the streets in need of repairs; Sunset Oval will <br />definitely be given consideration. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 87-30 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Pebblebrook Subdivision <br />revised plat in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-30 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 87-34 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />87-34 adopted. <br />President Saringer announced that Resolution Nos. 87-39 and 87-40, on first <br />reading, would be passed this evening under suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings. <br />Ordinance No. 87-36 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1987. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 87-37 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 1713.03 of the Codif ied Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted entitled "Permit Fee; Fire Department Inspector" of Chapter 1713 <br />entitled "Blasting", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 87-38 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by <br />providing for "No Parking" on fire hydrant side of Maplehurst Road in the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 87-39 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />four (4) police vehicles for the North 'Olmsted Police Department, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 87-39 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 87-40 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first .reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />three (3) new pick-up trucks for the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-40 adopted. <br /> <br />
