Council Minutes of 7/19/88
-2 -
if the Township's flow exceeds an amount indicated in the contract, at one of
~* seven points of entry, or if the Wastewater Treatment Plant itself goes above
~+wr capacity because of the Township, then negotiations must start between the
engineer of the City of North Dlmsted, the Township and the County. City
Engineer Boyer indicated that a new development would bring the McKenzie Road
point of entry to 100 of capacity. Since the ordinance and contract had not
been introduced by the time they reached that point, then perhaps that is one
of the things that council should address and should that, in fact, be a part
of the contract and the County be put on notice right now when they are into
negotiations on further development.
Mayor Petrigac requested that a line item be created to show the interest earned
on the Industrial Park legislation so everyone will be aware of the interest that
the note is generating. Finance Director Boyle advised that the Auditor of State
requires a separate accounting which is why he requested that Ordinance No. 88-91
be passed under suspension of the rule requiring three readings tonight - so
that a "North Olmsted Industrial Parkway Fund" would be established within the
Special Assessment Fund Group and spec if ically marked "interest earnings".
