Council Minutes of 6/21/88 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 88-62 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for fifty (50) tons of chlorine for use in the North Olmsted Wastewater Treat- <br />ment Plant. <br />Ordinance No. 88-63 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second :reading. <br />An ordinance establishing a Motor Vehicle License Tax Fund within the Special <br />Revenue Fund Group fox' the purpose of accounting for receipts and expenditures <br />of permissive motor vehicle license taxes levied under Section 4504.15, 4504.16, <br />4504.17, 4504.1.71 and 4504.172 of the Ohio Revised Code, and declaring it to be <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-64 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization of the Police Division of the De- <br />partment of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Boehmer moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings,. second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously <br />approved, Mr. Boehmer moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky. Mr. Robert <br />Brookshire asked. why the rule requiring three readings was being suspended; <br />Mr. Wilamosky replied that the Police Department has recently changed to a four <br />shift pattern and they were short one sergeant; this will enable the newly <br />created fourth shift to be properly staffed.. Roll call on adoption of Ordin- <br />ance No. 88-64: Unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-64 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-66 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1331 of the Codified Ordinances <br />entitled, "Dangerous or Unsafe Buildings", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-71 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expendi- <br />tures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. <br />Ordinance No. 88-72 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council table Ordinance No. 88-73, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-73 tabled. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Ordinance No. 88-74 be amended by striking out Sections <br />2 (a) and 4 and that the other sections then be properly renumbered in numerical <br />order and that the words, "as amended" be included within the title, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 88-74 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative per- <br />sonnel, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 88-75 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Chapter 1141 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled, <br />"Office Building District". <br />Resolution No. 88-76 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 1989, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and de- <br />claring an emergency. <br /> <br />
