Council Minutes of 6/21/88 -7- LEGISLATION (cont'd): Ordinance No. 88-77 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 945 of the Codified Ordinances, en- titled "Community Cabin/Senior Center", and repealing Ordinance No. 87-100, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Bohlmann moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Mr. Bohlmann moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas. Mrs. Lillian Kordish asked what the new rates were; she was referred to the copy of the ordinance which was posted on the bulletin board outside of council chambers. Roll call on adoption of Ordin- ance No. 88-77: Unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-77 adopted. Ordinance No. 88-78 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An ordinance creating new and revised Section 1161.07 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled "Parking and. Storing of Commercial Tractors in Residential Districts Prohibited". Referred to BZD Committee. Ordinance No. 88-79 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An ordinance providingfor the hiring of Zoning .Consultant Robert C. Hill for the purpose of reviewing the existing Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of making recommendation regarding proposed changes and directing the Mayor to execute the contract for same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bahas, Boehmer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Bohlmann, O'Grady. 4 Aye - 2 Nay - Motion defeated. Ordinance No. 88-80 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its first reading. An ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the matter.. of the hereinafter described improvement and to request cooperation by the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Transportation, State of Ohio. Ordinance No. 88-81 introduced by Mr. Boh~.mann was given its first reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsed, by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence B District to General Retail Business District. Ordinance No. 88-82 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An ordinance establishing the regulation and use of the "Common Center Lane". Re- ferred to Safety Committee. Miscellaneous business: President Saringer announced: 1) Public Hearing with respect to the 1989 budget will be held on July 5th at 7 P.M. 2) Special Council Meeting will be held on July 14th at 7:.30 P.M., in order to pass the budget which must be received by the County Auditor before July 20th. 3) Reminded council that the Clerk of Council would be on vacation from July 4th through July 18th. 4) Fireworks display will be held on Sunday, July 3rd with a rain date set for Monday, July 4th. Mr. Wilamokky scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Tuesday, June 28th at 8 P.M. ~; and requested the attendance of Mayor Petrigac, Finance Director Boyle, Budget and Management Director Cunningham and any interested member of Council to be in attendance. Purpose of the meeting is discussion of the estimated 1989 budget; would also like to discuss any revenue projections prepared by Mr. Cunningham.
