<br />Ordinance No. 88-54 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An
<br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to pro-
<br />vide for the installation of a "No Right Turn On Red - 7:00 A.M, to 9:00 A.M.,
<br />Weekdays Only" sign for traffic travelling in an easterly direction on Brookpark
<br />Road where the same intersects Clague Road, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 88-55 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An
<br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to pro-
<br />vide for the installation of a "No Left Turn - 7:00 A.M, to 9:00 A.M., Weekdays
<br />Only" sign for traffic travelling in a westerly direction on Brookpark Road where
<br />the same intersects Clague Road, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Resolution No. 88-56 introduced by Mayor Petrigac and all Members of Council was
<br />given its second reading. A resolution supporting the PASSPORT Frogram and urging
<br />Ohio to increase funding for PASSPORT sufficient enough to enable the program to
<br />be established in Cuyahoga County. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule re-
<br />quiring three readings, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky
<br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No.
<br />88-56 adopted.
<br />Prior to second reading of Ordinance No. 88-57, Mr. Wilamosky moved council approve
<br />the following amendments: under General Fund, Section 1, strike out, under Service
<br />Department Wages, the amount of $10,000 and insert $8,775; under General Fund,
<br />Fertilizer and Weed Control, the increased amount will be $700 and the revised
<br />amount will read $700; also, a line item, Stump Grinding, in the amount of $300
<br />be inserted; under Street Maintenance Fund, Equipment Purchase, the amount of
<br />$2,225 be struck in its entirety; and going back to General Fund, under Service
<br />Department Wages, the revised amount should read $421,075, second by Mr. Tallon,
<br />unanimously approved.
<br />Ordinance No. 88-57 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. An
<br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other exgenditures
<br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988, as amended.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as
<br />reference to committee on Ordinance No. 88-57, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously
<br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously
<br />approved. Ordinance No. 88-57 adopted.
<br />Resolution No. 88-58 introduced by Mr. Wilamokky on behalf of the Mayor and the
<br />entire council was given its first reading. A resolution commending achievement
<br />of The Silver Award in Cadette Girl Scouting. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension
<br />of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved.

<br />Resolution No. 88-58 adopted.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky requested Finance Director Boyle to provide a Fiscal Officer's
<br />Certificate with respect to Ordinance No. 88-59; Fiscal Officer's Certif icate
<br />presented by Finance Director Boyle.
<br />Ordinance No. 88-59 introduced by Mr, Wilamosky was given its first reading. An
<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $90,000 notes, in anticipation
<br />of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving Lorain Road (State Route 10)
<br />between certain termini, in cooperation with the Director of Transportation of the
<br />State of Ohio, by resurfacing with asphaltic concrete and reconstructing the pave-
<br />ment base, curbs and sidewalks, where necessary, together with all necessary
<br />appurtances thereto, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee.
