Council Minutes of 3/1/88 -4- <br />LEGISLATION• <br />Ordinance No. 88-14 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a Drug Enforcement Trust Fund, pursuant to Ohio Revised <br />Code Section 2925.03 (J) and (K), and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />88-14 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-15 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication 7515 Company's Subdivision No. 2, which in- <br />cludes Tara-Lynn Drive in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />adoption, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-15 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 88-21 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its second reading. A <br />resolution objecting to certian provisions of Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code detailing the State Collective Bargaining Law, specifically Chapter 4117.14 (C) 6 <br />requiring the City Council to reject the recommendations of the Fact Finder within <br />only seven (7) days, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-22 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988, <br />Ordinance No. 88-24 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1361 of the Codified Ordinances <br />entitled, "Flood Damage Prevention". <br />Ordinance No. 88-26 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. President Pro Tem Tallon <br />asked if anyone in the audience would like to address Ordinance No. 88-26; there <br />was no audience participation. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-26 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-27 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication the Pheasants Walk Subdivision, which includes <br />Pheasants Walk Drive, Wood Path Drive and Quail Run, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-28 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and request the cooperation <br />of the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Transportation, State of Ohio. <br />Referred to Transportation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-29 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance granting the extinguishment and release of a sewer easement granted to <br />the City of North Olmsted and recorded in Volume 11663, Page 681 of Cuyahoga <br />County Plat Records, and declaring an emergency. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-30 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance granting the extinguishment and release of a utility easement granted <br />to the City of North Olmsted and recorded in Volume 238, Page 65, of Cuyahoga <br />County Plat Records and to further accept a new easement in place thereof for the <br />installation and maintenance of sewers for the purpose of supplying sewer service <br />to Hastings Drive property.
