i <br />Council Minutes of .1/19/88 <br />-5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 88-1 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />.fir <br />An ordinance to provide a better driving environment to persons using our city <br />streets and highways by adopting the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control <br />Devices, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-2 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all hourly employees <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. There was no audience participation. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 88-2 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-3 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance enacting a new Chapter 759 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted to provide for registration of users of pesticides and pesticide <br />products and for notification to registered residents, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 88-4 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication the Pebblebrook Subdivision which includes <br />Walnut Lane,. Pebblebrook Lane and Sandpiper Lane, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-5 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to approve current replacement pages to the Codified Ordinances; to <br />adopt new matter; and declaring an emergency. Referred to Legislative Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-6 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for. the year ending December 31, 1988. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring. three readings and referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. There was no audience participation. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 88-6 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-7 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition <br />or removal of the detached garage located at 3320 Clague Road, in the City of <br />North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Safety Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-8 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition <br />or removal of the detached garage and single dwelling located at 4712 Dover <br />Center Road, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Re- <br />ferred to Safety Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-9 introduced by Mr. Bohlmann was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Sections 1309.01, 1309.04 and 1309.05 of <br />the Building Code dealing with the updating and adopting of the current <br />National Electrical Code. <br />Ordinance No. 88-10 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Traff-Pro <br />Consultants, Inc., for the purpose of preparing a traffic signal study of five <br />intersections within the City in conjunction with and under the conditions of a <br />grant from the Ohio Department of Highway Safety, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to joint Transportation and Safety Committees. <br /> <br />
