Council Minutes of 11/8/89 -3- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 89-86 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by pro- <br />viding for the installation of three-way stop signs at Root Road and Byron Drive, <br />and declaring an emergency. Referred to Saf ety Committee. <br />Resolution No. 89-87 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />3,000 tons of salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings <br />as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Reso- <br />lution No. 89-87 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 89-88 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olmsted Wastewater Treat- <br />ment Facilities Plant, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 89-89 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for diesel fuel <br />and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted and North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring <br />an emergency. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Miscellaneous business: <br />President Saringer announced that.Ordinance No. 89-80, providing for notification to <br />land owners of existing restrictive covenant deeds, has been returned to committee. <br />Mrs. Bahas scheduled a Long Range Planning Committee Meeting for Monday, November <br />20th, at 7:30 P.M., to discuss the occupancy legislation. <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a Saf ety Committee Meeting for Monday, November 20th, <br />immediately following the Long Range Planning Committee Meeting, to discuss Ordinance <br />No. 89-86 as well as current pending liquor permit applications. <br /> <br />
