<br />given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of
<br />$180,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay cost of improving
<br />the city's street system by acquiring and installing signals, signs and other
<br />equipment and devices to direct and control the flow of vehicular and pedestrian
<br />traffic .
<br />Resolution No. 89-55 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. A
<br />resolution accepting for recording purposes only, the Cambridge Crossings Estates
<br />Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule
<br />requiring three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady. Affirmative vote: Bahas, Boehmer,
<br />O'Grady, Tallon. Negative vote: Bohlmann, McKay, Wilamosky. Motion defeated.
<br />Resolution No. 89-56 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading.
<br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for one (1)
<br />roll-off (dead lift) 50,000 Bound frame container rails for the sludge-hauling
<br />truck at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and authorizing the Mayor to contract
<br />for same, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 89-59 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading.
<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,025,000 notes, in antici-
<br />pation of the issuance of bonds and the levy and collection of special assess-
<br />ments, to pay costs of improving North Olmsted Industrial Parkway between certain
<br />termini by grading, draining, curbing, paving and constructing a water main and
<br />storm and sanitary sewers, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and
<br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved Finance Director Boyle present a
<br />Fiscal Officer's Certificate with respect to Ordinance Nos. 89-59, 89-60 and
<br />89-61, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Fiscal Officer's Certificate
<br />covering Ordinance Nos. 89-59, 89-60 and 89-61 were presented to council. Mr.
<br />Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr.
<br />Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr.
<br />Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-59 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 89-60 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An
<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $270,000 notes, in anticipation
<br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of providing funds to pay costs of the
<br />judgment rendered against the City in Civil Action Number C82-3089 in the United
<br />States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, and
<br />losses, damages and expenses related thereto, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 89-61 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An
<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $100,000 notes, in anticipation
<br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a motor vehicle and related
<br />equipment for the Department of Public Service.
<br />Resolutuion No. 89-62 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A
<br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for a
<br />sewer jet to be used for storm sewer and catch basin cleaning, and declaring an
<br />emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 89-63 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An
<br />ordinance to transfer and make appropriations for current expenses and other ex-
<br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by
<br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by
<br />Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 89-63 adopted.
