Council Minutes of 1/1.7/89 -5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />. Ordinance No. 88-146 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for the President of <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January <br />1, 1990, and ending December 31, 1993, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wila- <br />mosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: <br />Affirmative vote: Bahas, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky.. Nega- <br />tive vote: Boehmer. 6 Aye - 1 Nay -Motion carried. Ordinance No, 88-146 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-147 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing. and fixing the compensation for the Ward Council <br />Members of the City of North Olmsted .for the term of office commencing January <br />1, 1990, and ending December 31, 1993, and declaring an emergency.. Mr. Wila- <br />mosky moved for adoption, .second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved, Ordin- <br />ance No. 88-147 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-2 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 943.07 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted entitled, "Rates for Opening and Closing Graves", of Chapter 943 <br />entitled, "Cemeteries", and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 89-3 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />one (1) air handling unit for the Wastewater Treatment Laboratory, and author- <br />izing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />89-3 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 89-4 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance approving and accepting a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the <br />Western Cuyahoga Lodge No. 25 of the Fraternal Order of Police and directing the <br />Mayor to enter into said agreement, and declaring an emergency. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-5 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance declaring city-owned real estate, located at 5946 Barton Road, bearing <br />Permanent Parcel Number 234-06-005, as surplus property and directing the Mayor <br />to hire the services of an appraiser and to advertise for bids for the sale of <br />said surplus property. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-6 introduced by Councilmen Bohlmann and McKay was given its <br />first reading. An ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of North Olmsted to solicit proposals from engineering firms for the purpose <br />of providing the city with estimates of cost for the preparation of a comprehensive <br />ordinance dealing with the establishment and imposition of impact fees to be <br />imposed upon those developing within the City of North Olmsted. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 89-7 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />
