Council Minutes of 1/3/89 -3- Letters and communications: Clerk of Council reported: 1) Rini C2, C2X and D6 ligour permit for an address at 26035 Lorain Road, which is now occupied by Office Max, was passed by council at the last meeting predicated on the correction of this address. The application was made in error; Ohio Department of Liquor Control was ad- vised; said application was voided and never forwarded to Columbus for action. 2) A Public Hearing has been scheduled for January 10th, at 7 P.M., covering Community Development Block Grant funds. Residents are invited to be in attendance to voice their opinion as to how this money may best be used to benefit the citizens and the City of North Olmsted. LEGISLATION: Ordinance No. 88-122 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, which Zone Map is part. of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence A District to General Retail Business District, as amended. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-122 adopted. Resolution No. 88-133 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olssted Waste- water Treatment Facilities Plant. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 88-133 adopted. Resolution No. 88-140 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A resolution urging the Director of the Ohio Department of Transportation to take immediate steps to establish a new center line for the relocation of State Route 252, which proposed roadway currently provides for the. widening and relocation of State Route 252 in the City of Westlake and new construction within the City of North Olmsted, which project has been thwarted by the refusal of the City of Westlake to sign a cooperation agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 88-140 adopted. Ordinance No. 88-143 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January 1, 1990, and ending December 31, 1993, and declaring an emergency.
