Council Minutes of 1/3/89 -3- <br />Letters and communications: <br />Clerk of Council reported: 1) Rini C2, C2X and D6 ligour permit for an <br />address at 26035 Lorain Road, which is now occupied by Office Max, was passed <br />by council at the last meeting predicated on the correction of this address. <br />The application was made in error; Ohio Department of Liquor Control was ad- <br />vised; said application was voided and never forwarded to Columbus for action. <br />2) A Public Hearing has been scheduled for January 10th, at 7 P.M., covering <br />Community Development Block Grant funds. Residents are invited to be in attendance <br />to voice their opinion as to how this money may best be used to benefit the <br />citizens and the City of North Olmsted. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 88-122 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted, which Zone Map is part. of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, <br />by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence A District <br />to General Retail Business District, as amended. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-122 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 88-133 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olssted Waste- <br />water Treatment Facilities Plant. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 88-133 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 88-140 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution urging the Director of the Ohio Department of Transportation to take <br />immediate steps to establish a new center line for the relocation of State Route <br />252, which proposed roadway currently provides for the. widening and relocation <br />of State Route 252 in the City of Westlake and new construction within the City <br />of North Olmsted, which project has been thwarted by the refusal of the City of <br />Westlake to sign a cooperation agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, <br />unanimously approved.
