Council Minutes of 10/2/90 LEGISLATION (CONTINUED) Reso ution No. - introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. A resolution opposing the restriction or elimination of the federal tax deduction for state and local income and property taxes. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of the rules; second by Mr. Leonard; passed unanimously. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 90-123 adopted. Ordinance No. 90-124 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the a<nenchnent of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence B District to General Retail Business District. Ordinance No. 90-125 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. An ordinance adopting a new and revised Planning and Zoning Code for the City of North Olmsted. Ordinance No. 90-126 introduc~i by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. An ordinance approving the granting of a license to Woodpath Garden Club for the installation and maintenance of a subdivision designation sign and associated landscaping on land owned by the City of North Olmsted aril authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an agreement for same. Ordinance No. 90-127 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordinance establishing that portion of ColLUnbia Road, between Lorain Road and. Brookpark Road, as a truck route permissible under Section 339.02 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 90-128 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordinance establishing the organization of the Police Division of the Department of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 90-132 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 90-133 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for up to 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 90-134 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for diesel fi~l and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted and North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, axxi authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. 5
