Council Minutes of 9/18/90 <br />LEGISLATION (CONTINUED): <br />Or 'Hance No. -1 was introduced by Mrs. Beringer and was given its <br />first reading. An ordinance adopting a new arrl revised Planning and <br />Zoning Code for the City of North Olmsted. Referred to Planning <br />Commission. <br />Ordinance No. 90-126 was introduced by Mrs. Beringer and given its first <br />reading. An ordinance approving the granting of a license to Woodpath <br />Garden Club for the installation and maintenance of a subdivision <br />designation sign and associated landscaping on land owned by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement for same. <br />Ordinance No. 90-127 was introduced by Mr. O'Grady and given its first <br />reading. An ordinance establishing that portion of Columbia Road, <br />between Lorain Road and Brookpark Road, as a truck route permissible <br />under Section 339.02 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-128 was introduced by Mr. O'Grady and given its first <br />reading. An ordinance establishing the organization of the Police <br />Division of -the Department of Public Safety, aril declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-129 was introduced by Mr. Tallon and given its first <br />reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and <br />other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 1990, aryl declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />suspension of the rules; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Tallon explained that money in this fund had to be increased for the <br />City to meet premium payments for the upcoming year. <br />Jim Cater, 3105 Walter Rd., asked why the savings in insurance premiums <br />was not being used for the operation of the Sewage Treatment Plant. <br />Mr. Wilamosky explained that additional monies were being appropriated <br />from the Sewer Revenue Fund in order to meet the operational costs for <br />insurance for the Sanitary Sewage Plant. The ordinance also reflects an <br />additional appropriation of $40,000 which will go into street repair <br />material. <br />Mr. Tallon moved for adoption of Ordinance No. 90-129; second by Mrs. <br />Beringer; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 90-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-130 was introduced by Mr. Tallon and given its first <br />reading. An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses <br />and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 1990, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />suspension of the rules; second by Mr. O'Grady; passed ta~anmously. Mr. <br />Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 90-130 adopted. <br />8 <br /> <br />
