Council minutes of 7/3/90 <br />LEGISLATI~ (continued) <br />Reso uton N0. introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third <br />reading. A resolution declaring the necessity of an election on the <br />question of approving the passage of an ordinance to amend sections <br />1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502, 1501.1302, 1501.1901, ar~d 1501.2101 of <br />the codified ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio in order to <br />increase the municipal income tax rate paid to another municipality on <br />income taxed by the City of North Opted to the extent that the income <br />tax so paid does not exceed two percent of the taxable income, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for ad+aption; second by Mr. <br />McKay. Unanimously approved. Resolution No. 90-78 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-80 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance establishing the organization of the Police <br />Division of the. Department of Public Safety, arxi declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar. Unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 90-80 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-81 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 <br />notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of <br />renovating, rer~deling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping, and <br />otherwise improving the Municipal Recreation Center and improving and <br />equipping its site. <br />Resolution No. 90-82 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for six (6) 23,000 lbs. GVWR chassis (low profile), <br />six (6) super duty dump bodies and hoists, arxi six (6) 10'-power angle <br />snow plows, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension <br />of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Babas. Unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay. <br />Unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 90-82 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 90-83 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for one (1) diesel-engine driven, four-wheel drive, <br />articulated, rubber-tired wheel loader with 2.0 yd. hook an bucket, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of the rules; <br />secoryd by Mr. McKay. Unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. McKay. Unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />90-83 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 90-84 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for one (1) integral tractor-loader-backhoe wheel <br />type, a~rr3 declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Beringer. Unanimously <br />approved.
