Council Minutes of 3/20/90 -4- <br />President Pro Tem Bahas announced that Ordinance Nos. 90-34 and 90-35 have been <br />added to the agenda this evening and suspension of the rule requiring three readings <br />will be requested for Ordinance Nos. 90-27, 90-28, 90-29, 90-30, 90-31, 90-32 <br />and 90-33. All this legislation has been previously discussed; the suspension of <br />three readings is just the mechanics being used to get the funding underway and <br />get these projects going. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 90-22 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traff is Control File of the City of North Olmsted to in- <br />stall a stop sign at the intersections of Pebblebrook and Walnut Lanes, and de- <br />claring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-23 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by <br />providing for the installation of a "No Right Turn On Red" sign at Cedar Point <br />Road and Columbia Road to read, "No Right Turn On Red From 6:30 A.M. to 8:00 A.M., <br />And From 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. - Weekdays Only", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-24 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by pro- <br />viding for the installation of three-way stop signs at the intersection of <br />Columbia and Butternut Ridge Roads, thereby controlling traffic travelling in a <br />southerly direction on Columbia Road, controlling traffic travelling in a norther- <br />ly direction on Columbia Road, and controlling traffic travelling in an easterly <br />direction on Butternut Ridge Road, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-25 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by <br />providing for the prohibition of truck and bus traffic on Country Club Boule- <br />vard and limiting the traffic travelling thereon to local traffic only from <br />Lorain Road easterly to Victoria Lane, and, from Victoria Lane westerly to <br />Lorain Road, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-27 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to estalbish within the Capital Improvement Fund Group a "Lorain Road <br />Water Main Relining Fund" of the City of North Olmsted for the proceeds of Issue <br />II monies and related expenditures, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved <br />for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to committee, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Nashar, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 90-27 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-28 introduced by Mr. Leonard was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance for the repair and resurfacing of Canterbury Road (CR-84) from Lorain <br />Road (SR-10) to the North Olmsted corporation line in the City of North Olmsted, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Leonard moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. O'Grady, unani- <br />mously approved. Mr. Leonard moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 90-28 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-29 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance for the repair and resurfacing of Gessner Road (CR-129) from Columbia <br />Road (SR-252) to Walter Road in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as <br />well as referral to committee, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, ,unanimously approved. Ordin- <br />ance No. 90-29 adopted. <br />~~~:~~ <br />
