Council Minutes of 11/19/91 <br />b. Ordinance No. 91-132, which is a rezoning ordinance. There was confusion as <br />to the height limitations; however, this has been rectified. The height <br />limitation will be four stories. A public hearing on this ordinance will be held <br />at 7 p.m. on December 3. <br />c. Ordinance No. 91-150, which is an ordinance accepting a traffic signal <br />detector easement on property owned by Lauren Properties Limited Partnership. <br />Lauren Properties will pay 25% of the costs and the State will pey 75%. <br />d. A change in the Zoning Code with regard to staring of recreatior~l vehicles <br />was discussed. The Building Commissioner will prepare an ordinance, and it will <br />be presented in the near future. <br />Mr. McKay reported for Mrs. Babas, Chairperson of the Legislative Committee: <br />1) The Council met as aCommittee-of-the-Whole this evening to interview William <br />Purger for an appointment to the Board. of Zoning Appeals. The ccttee <br />unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Purger. Mr. MacKay moved that Council <br />approve the appointment of William Purger to the Board of Zoning Appeals; second <br />by Mr. Tallon; passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Nashar, Chairperson of the Streets and Drainage Committee, reported: 1) The <br />Park Ridge project should be completed by December 1. The contractor is making <br />every effort to have the aprons on park Ridge and Lynhaven completed; however, <br />canpletion may be delayed until the weather improves. <br />2) A public meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on December 4 to discuss the <br />proposed Crocker/Stearns Road improvement. The Ming will take place at City <br />Hall and will give residents a chance to see the proposal and make comments. <br />The Clerk read a letter from Mr. George Papandreas, Biskind Realty Company, <br />confirming the building height restriction of four stories on the 1.7 acre <br />portion of Parcel B which is being rezoned. The revision to the deed <br />restrictions will be made and properly executed by Mr. Biskind upon his return <br />from an out-of-town trip. <br />No Audience Participation <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 91-141 introduced by Mx. Leonard was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />one (1) emergency rescue vehicle and equipment to be used by the North OLnsted <br />Fire Department, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Leonard moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. McKay; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-141 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-142 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-142 <br />adopted. <br />3 <br />
