Council Minutes of 10/1/91 <br />LEGISLATION (CONTINUED) <br />Ordinance No.~l-1 introduced by Mr. Leonard was given its secor~. reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization of the Police Division of the <br />Department of Public Safety, and. declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 91-127 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to make apprapriati.ons for current expenses mzd other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, <br />1992. <br />Resolution No. 91-128 introduced by Mr. Nashar on behalf of Mayor Boyle and <br />the entire Council was given its second reading. A resolution extending the <br />deadline for the Great Lakes Water Quality Initiative. <br />Resolution No. 91-129 introduced by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council was <br />given its second reading. A resolution urging Congressional leaders to <br />approve legislation aimed at returning cable regulation to Local government <br />and introducing competitive alternatives. <br />Ordinance No. 91-130 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted <br />to enter into an agreement with Delia Consultants to provide engineering <br />services for stormwater culvert and ditch improvements on the Rice Ditch, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 91-131 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mayor Boyle and the <br />entire Council was given its second reading. An ordinance approving a new <br />sewer service agreement between the City of North 0]msted arxi the County of <br />Cuyahoga under which a portion of Olm7sted Township is served by the City's <br />sanitary sewer system, superseding the existing agreement, authorizing the <br />execution of the new agreement, aril declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 91-133 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mayor Bogle and the <br />entire Council was given its second reading. An ordinance naming and <br />designating Baseball Diamond No. 2, located in the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Park, Cliff Grady Field. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings; secorxl by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. Mrs. <br />Saringer moved for adoption; second. by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 91-133 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-132 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor <br />Boyle. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City <br />of North Olmsted, which Zane Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted, by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single <br />Residence A District to Mixed Use District A. <br />Resolution No. 91-134 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mr. <br />Nashar. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise <br />for bids for the grading of land and. placement of drainage near the north- <br />, western corner of North Olmsted Recreation Center in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />5 <br /> <br />
