Council Minutes of 9/3/91 <br />b. Resolution 91-108, which authorizes the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of an automated fuel management and <br />leak detection system at the Municipal Administration Complex. The Committee <br />approves and asks for passage of this legislation. <br />c. Ordinance 91-116, which is a transfer ordinance. Upon request of Finance <br />Director Burns, the ordinance has been amended to include two intro-fund <br />transfers from the Police Department. After discussion, the members felt more <br />information was needed on the line item for the Senior Center Activities <br />Staff. At tonight's Committee meeting, this item was discussed aixi the line <br />item has been increased to $25,000. The Committee members also have questions <br />concerning Fire Department overtime; this issue will be addressed at the next <br />Committee meeting. <br />d. City Newsletter. The Committee will continue to discuss the cost and set- <br />up of the proposed newsletter. <br />Mrs. Babas, Chairperson of the Legislative Committee reported: 1) The <br />Committee met on Monday, August 26, to interview Lori Hardony for appointment <br />to the Human Resources Advisory Board. The Coimni.ttee wholeheartedly <br />recommends Ms. Hardony for this position. <br />2) Mrs . Babas Waved to recominerul the appointment of Lori Hardony as a m~nber <br />of the Hiunan Resources Advisory Board; second by Mr. McKay; passed unanimously. <br />Mr: Leonard, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare CamLittee <br />reported: 1) The Committee nit this evening to discuss Ordinance 91-114, which <br />will upgrade the traffic signal at I-480 and Clague Road. The Committee <br />recommends passage. <br />2) Mr. Leonard moved Council accept a liquor permdt transfer from the Gary Von <br />Agency, DBA Glitz, 25700 Lorain Road, to the Sunshine Investmient Co., DBA <br />Glitz, 25700 Lorain Road; second by Mr. Nashar. Roll call: Mr. Leonard, yes; <br />Mr. Nashar, yes; Mr. Tallon, yes; Mrs. Saringer, yes; Mr. Lind, yes; Mr. McKay, <br />no; Mrs. Babas, no. Motion passes with five affirmative votes and. two negative <br />votes. Transfer approved. <br />3) Mr. Leonard moved Council accept a liquor permit transfer from the Kyoko <br />Restaurant Inc., DBA Sakura Japanese Restaurant, 26225 Great Northern Shopping <br />Plaza, to Josie G. Inc., 2410$ Lorain Road, Unit 13; second by Mr. Lind; passed <br />unanimously. Transfer approved. <br />4) Mr. Leonard moved Council accept a liquor permit transfer from Milk Pail <br />Family Restaurant, Inc., 28991 Lorain Road, to Boyles Restaurants, Inc., DBA <br />Milk Pail Family Restaurant, 28991 Lorain Road; second by Mr. Nashar; passed <br />unanimously.
