i ~ <br />Council Minutes of 8/20/91 <br />Mayor Boyle assured Mrs. Simonski that, although the construction area does look <br />bad, the finished project will be very nice. Also, lawns and vegetation will be <br />replaced; the City holds a maintenance bond on the project to guarantee that all <br />work is satisfactory. <br />Mr. McKay expressed concern about the motorists using the street as a short-cut. <br />Mayor Boyle assured him and the residents that the Police have been there issuing <br />tickets and will continue to do so. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 91-91 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise forbids for <br />the construction of aeration main improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-91 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-95 introduced by Mrs. Babas and Mrs. Beringer was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance to amend Sections 911.03, 911.12, 911.15 and 911.16 <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. Babas moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-95 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-96 introduced by Mrs. Babas and Mrs. Beringer was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance to amend Sections 917.02, 917.05, 917.06 and 917.99 <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. Mrs. Babas moved <br />for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-96 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-97 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance declaring city owned real estate located adjacent to 4542 Silverdale <br />Road, bearing Permanent Parcel Ntnnber 232-27-16, as surplus property and <br />directing the Mayor to sell said surplus property. Mr. Nashar moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-97 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-98 introduced by Mr. Leonard was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the city of North 0).m~ted by <br />providing for the installation of two stop signs at the intersection of Decker <br />Road and Midvale Avenue, thereby controlling the traffic travelling both north <br />and south on Decker Rom where the same intersects with Midvale Avernue. Mr. <br />Leonard moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; passed uananimo~usly. Ordinance <br />No. 91-98 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-103 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was ;given its secarx~. reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing acid directing the City Engineer to accept axxl record <br />dedication plats establishing additional right-of-way for Country Club Boulevard <br />at Lorain Road and Victoria Lane, and declaring an emergency. <br />,~,, Resolution No. 91-104 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading.
