Council Minutes of 5/21/91 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 90-125 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance adopting a new and revised Planning and Zoning <br />Code for the City of North Opted. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; <br />secorxi by Mr. Tallon; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 90-125 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-62 introduced by Mr. Leonard was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance amending Chapter 941 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of North OLnsted entitled "Refuse Collection" by adding <br />thereto a new Section 941.03 entitled "Storage of Refuse -Commercial <br />Establishments" and declaring an emergency. Mr. Leonard moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unaninwusly. Ordinance <br />No. 91-62 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-64 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section 161.06 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Vehicle Mileage <br />Allowance" of Chapter 161 entitled "Employees Generally". Mr. Leonard <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Tallon; passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 91-64 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-53 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second <br />reading. A resolution urging Cablevisic~n of Ohio to exterxi a senior <br />citizen discount to all those seniors who qualify for the Golden Buckeye <br />Card tinder the Ohio Golden Buckeye program. Mrs. Beringer moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Babas; <br />passed unanimously. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second. by Mrs. <br />Babas; passed unaninx~usly. Resolution No. 91-53 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-71 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />negotiate a contract with Norstan for improvements to the telephone <br />system for the Police Station, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 91-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />Nashar. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of stormwater culvert aru3. ditch <br />improvements on the Coe lateral in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an urgency. <br />Resolution No. 91-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />Tallon. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of disinfection facility <br />improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 91 -74 was introduced aruii placed on first reading by Mr. <br />Tallon. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,200,000 <br />notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />improving the municipal sanitary sewer system by rehabilitating and <br />replacing sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer connections, together with <br />the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring <br />6 <br /> <br />
