Council Minutes of 4/2/91 <br />Audience Partici tion <br />Mike Gimino--,-~Tountry Club Boulevard, owner of Nightfalls Lounge at <br />30850 Lorain Road, was concerned because two neighbors behind his <br />business are making frequent cadplaints. In ree to previous <br />requests, he has put up a $9,000 fence; he feels the eoa~laints are <br />unwarranted. He said that the rubbish found in the neighbors' yards was <br />not from his business. <br />Mr. Nashar commented that there have been occasions when the rise level <br />from Nightfalls was excessive. Also, he informed Mr. Gimino that trash <br />bags have been sighted along the side of the lounge. <br />Mr. Gimirio promised that the trash bags would be disposed of properly <br />and would no longer be stored along the side of the building. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Or~ci-i~ance No. 91-47 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />with the City of Fairview Park regarding capital charges for sewer <br />improvements. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-47 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-49 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance establishing new Charter 955 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Sale of Surplus City <br />Personal Property. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mrs. <br />Babas; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-49 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-50 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third <br />ding An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various <br />rea <br />administrative aril legislative personnel and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Babas. <br />Ro11ca11: Beringer, yes; Babas, yea; Leonard, no; O'Grady, yes; McKay, <br />no; Nashar, yes. Motion passes with 4 aye's acid 2 no's. Ordinance No. <br />91-50 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />McKay. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for the purchase of two (2), six passenger, four door <br />sedan automobiles to be used by the Mayor and Service Director. <br />Ordinance No. 91-56 was introduced anti placed on first reading by Mr. <br />O'Grady. An ordinance establishing a law enforcement alcohol education <br />and enforcement fiord pursuant to O.R.C. 4511.99 and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and co~mittee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed <br />unanimously.
