Council Minutes of 2/19/91 <br />In Chapter 1123.06, "public garage" was changed to "repair garage." In <br />1123.09, the Clerk of Commissions had sent in suggestions with regard to <br />notice, and these will be changed. In Chapter 1115.02, "Development <br />Area" means a parcel or parcels of land not less than the mindrmsn area <br />of land. In Chapter 1115.06, pg. 15, the paragraph "Two-Family <br />Dwelling", the word "fireproof" in the third line was changed to <br />"tenant." The next meeting will be rkmday, February 25 at 7:30; <br />Chapters 1133 to 1137 will be covered. (A complete list of the changes <br />is attached to these minutes) <br />2) The regular meeting of the BZD Committee was held on February 13. In <br />attendance were Council Members Beringer and Nashax; Dave Banker <br />representing Building Cox~rmissioner Conway; Assistant Engineer Dave <br />McDermott; Mr. Smith representing Horizons. The proposal before the <br />Committee was a pavilion to be built by the horizons Activity Center. <br />This had been approved by the Planning Comnissor~ with tY~ condition <br />that the Building Comsmissioner receive plans showing adequate parking. <br />As of that evening, Mr. Conway had not received these plans; the plans <br />presented that evening did ~t indi.cate a defined parking area. The <br />developer has been requested to provide a detailed drawang showing the <br />parking area to the Committee and the Engineering Department. <br />Mr. McKay, Chairperson of the Environmental Control Committee, reported: <br />1) The West Shore Solid Waste Cetittee will meet Wednesday, February <br />20, at 7:30 in the Rocky River City Hall. Anyor~ who is interested may <br />attend. <br />2) Also, the same evening, there will be an house sponsored by the <br />airport at the Marriott at I-71 and West 1~ from 6 to 9 p.m. <br />Information, displays, and representatives from the airport will be <br />available to explain expansion of the airport and discuss tree noise <br />problem. <br />Mr. Tallon, Chairperson of the Finance Committee reported: 1) Finance <br />Committee met on February 11 at 8 p.m. In attendance were Committee <br />members Beringer, O'Grady, and. Tallon; Mayor Boyle; Directors Bohlmann, <br />Burns, and Wilamosky; Councilman Nashar. The following ordinances were <br />discussed: <br />a. Ordinance No. 91-1, relating to what support the City will give to <br />employees called to the Gulf War. The input of the entire Coruncil will <br />be sought on this ordinance; it will remain in committee until a later <br />date. <br />b. Ordinance No. 91-15, which authorizes the Director of Public Service <br />to advertise for bids for 50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for the <br />water treatment plant. The Committee had no objections and recommends <br />passage. <br />c. Ordinance No. 91-31, an ordinance amending Chapter 1701 of the <br />Codified Ordinances by adding a new section entitled "Fire Department <br />Research Fees". This will allow the Fire Department to pass on the <br />administrative costs of researching the cause of fires, and the <br />Committee concurred with this. <br />d. Ordinance No. 91-32, an ordinance increasing the Police Department's <br />petty cash fund from $100 to $250. The committee concurred with this <br />ordinance. <br />3 <br /> <br />
