Council Minutes of 1/15/91 <br />3) The C~anittee discussed Ordinance No. 91-2, a drainage easement <br />involving three parcels of land. in the Bretton Ridge Development. <br />4) On behalf of all the residents who have called about Country Club <br />Boulevard, he is glad the Issue 2 money has been awarded. <br />5) Was impressed with the newly renovated Recreation Center, sends best <br />wishes to Director Fattlar, and hopes that all residents have an <br />opportunity to use the facility. <br />6) On a more serious mte, expressed the hope that a peaceful resolution <br />will be found for the Middle East crisis. <br />Audience Particl tion <br />Frank Gem ert, 33~Lansing Drive, asked if there had been an <br />investigation into the sanitary flooding on Lansing Drive. <br />Service Director Bohlmann replied that videotaping of the Lansing <br />sanitaries is about to begin. In addition, through review of drawings, a <br />a couple of significant problems were found and will be corrected. Asked <br />Mr. Geffert to be patient for another few weeks. We are addressing the <br />problems, and he will see results very soon. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 90-171 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance creating new Section 521.13 of the City of North <br />Olmsted Codified Ordinances entitled, Treelawn arxi Apron Maintenance", <br />arxi declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay ,moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />O'Grady; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 90-171 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-173 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance accepting for dedication a portion of Cambridge <br />Crossings Estates Subdivision which includes Bretton Ridge Drive and <br />Ursula Court in the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. Saringer moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 90-173 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-164 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various <br />administrative and legislative personnel and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. McKay; passed unanimously. Mr. Tallon explained <br />the reason for the suspension was to allow these employees to receive <br />their raises as of January 1 rather than have them wait until May 5. Mayor <br />Boyle commented that these were basically cost of living increases; Mr. <br />Tallon concurred. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 90-164 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-174 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance establishing a new and revised Chapter 943 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Cemeteries", as <br />amended. <br />5 <br /> <br />
