Council Minutes of 10/20/92 <br />Mr. Nashar stated that the Streets & Drainage Committee would discuss Frank <br />Street at the next committee meeting. <br />Ralph Rhodes, 5157 Devon Drive, spoke against Ordinance 92-138 which deals with <br />the stacking of firewood. Ile was glad to hear that the ordinance has been put <br />back into committee for review. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resa~ti.on No. 92-125 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A <br />resolution accepting title to 3.38750 acres of real property formerly used as the <br />recreational area of the Deerfield North Homeowners Association, and authorizing <br />the Law Director to take whatever legal measures are appropriate and necessary to <br />quiet title to said real property in the name of the City of North Olmsted. Mr. <br />Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 92-125 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-128 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />additional Motorola equipment to up-date existing Motorola Centracam Series II <br />Dispatch Console within the Police Department. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Leonard. Roll call: McKay, yes; Leonard, yes;. Babas, yes; <br />Saringer, no; Nashar, yes; Musial, yes; Lind, yes. I~ti.on passed with 6 <br />affirmative votes and 1 no vote. Ordinance No. 92-128 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-133 introduced by Mr. McKay om behalf of himself and Mr. Nashar <br />was given its second reading. An ordinance to amend Section 911.12, Use of <br />Public Sewers, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 92-134 introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the <br />entire Council was given its second. reading. A resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the construction of the <br />sanitary sewer rehabilitation, Phase D-1992, improvements at various locations in <br />the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring thr~ readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion <br />passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion <br />passed ,m~,„~mously. Resolution No. 92-134 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-136 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Ohio Council 8 <br />and Local ~~2681 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal <br />Employees, covering Service and Waste Water Treatment Plant employees, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 92-137 introduced by Mrs. Babas, Mr. McKay, and Mrs. Saringer was <br />given its second reading. A resolution urging the Senate of the State of Ohio to <br />act upon and adopt Senate Bill 11 which provides for the prohibition of the <br />issuance or renewal of liquor permits authorizing the sale of beer, wine, and <br />mixed beverages at premises where gasoline or any other motor vehicle fuel is <br />sold or offered for sale, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 92-138 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating Section 521.15 of the General Offenses Code of the City of <br />5 <br />„_..~. <br />
