Council Minutes of 6/3/92 <br />Mr. Musial, Chairperson of the Recreation Committee, reported: 1) Iie is <br />continuing to meet with Recreation Commissioner Fattlar to set up a planr~d <br />schedule of maintenance and capital improvements for the Recreation Department. <br />2) Mr. Musial scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting for 7:15 on Wednesday, <br />June 10. <br />No Audience Participation <br />LEGISLATION <br />Or'~cinance No. 92-47 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor and Finance Director to execute a $272,250 <br />promissory note payable to the Ohio Public Works Commission for the purpose of <br />improving Silverdale Road, Sel.hurst Road ax~i Duane Road. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-47 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-54 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer and make appropriations for current ewes axl. other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1992., <br />as amended. Mr. Musial asked why the changes were being made; Mr. Lind stated <br />that the changes were required because of calculation errors on the original <br />legislation. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Leonard; passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-54 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-59 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its secorul reading. An <br />ordinance adding the position of correction officer to the organizational. chart <br />and composition of the non uniform, part-time persorn~el of the Police Department, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. Leonard; passed ucisnimously. Mr. y <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; passed rman;mously. Ordinance No. <br />92-59 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-60 introduced by Mr. McKay on behelf of the Mayor aEnd entire <br />Council was given its second. reading. An ordinance creating new and revised <br />Chapter 1361 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled <br />"Flood Damage Prevention" and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 92-62 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution authorizing the director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the installation of an HVAC system at the comtmmity cabin in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 92-63 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. <br />A resolution accepting for recording purpose only tY~e resubdivison plat of <br />parcels IA, IB and IC of the Developers Diversified, Ltd. and W. and Z. Prop- <br />erties, Ltd. resubdivision plat (as recorded in Volume 257, Page 2 of Cuyahoga <br />County map records) in the City of North Olmsted. <br />4 <br />
