A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids with <br />an outside contractor for the purpose, of ~oviding, on a contract basis, leaf <br />pick-up service throughout the City of North OLnsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 92-29 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,400,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving Silverdale Road, Selhurst <br />Road and Duane Road by grading, draining, curbing, reconstructing the pavement <br />base, widening, preparing the surface and paving with concrete, reconstructing <br />storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains and driveway aprons where necessary, <br />constructing sidewalks and installing above-ground wires and cables for street <br />lighting, together with the necessary appurtenances acrd work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 92-30 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its seco~x3. reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $2,000,000 rtes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the municipal sanitary <br />sewer system by rehabilitating and replacing sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer <br />connections, together with the ~-,cessary appurtenances and irk incidental <br />thereto. <br />Resolution No. 92-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />3,000 tons of salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for smme, arxi declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. McKay referred Resolution No. 92-31 to the Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 92-32 was introduced and placed cm first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,775,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the municipal sanitary <br />sewer system by constructing, reconstructing, rehabilitating acrd replacing <br />sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer connections and by improving and equipping the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant, together with the necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto, mad declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for perrsian of <br />the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Babas; <br />motion passed unenunously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-32 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-33 was introduced acrd placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $125,000 notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a motor vehicle for use in <br />carrying out functions of the Department of Public Service, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings <br />and conmi.ttee review; second by Mrs. Babas; motion passed tmanimously. A member <br />of the audience asked what type of vehicle was being purchased arxi was told it was <br />a Vac-all.
