-2-
2. AESTHETIC POLLUTION. AND SOUND BARRIERS
The Association requests and recommends that a natural barrier
and/or fencing be installed and maintained along the western
edge of the right-of-way. The barrier and/or fencing should
start North from Lorain Road and be continuous to a distance
of at least 500 feet North of the last home in the
Association.
It is further requested and recommended that the barrier
and/or fencing be installed early in the construction project
to provide protection by isolating the adjacent yards and all
homes from noise, dust and pollutants during construction.
3. SAFETY FENCING
The Association requests and recommends that a chain link
fence, at least six (6) feet high, be installed and maintained
along the western edge of right-of-way North from Lorain Road
to the Westlake boundary.
The fence wi 11 provide for the public safety and welfare of
North Olmsted's children and pets, and prevent intruders
and/or trespassers from entering the back yards of the homes
bordering the roadway. The fence should be located between
the Road and the barrier/fencing described in #2 above.
~ 4. ROAD SPEED LIMIT/.ROAD USAGE
The Association requests and recommends that the speed limit
for the entire length of Road in North Olmsted be designated
and posted at no greater than-"35 MILES PER HOUR", and that a
restriction of "NO THROUQN TRUCKS" be designated.
The suggested speed limit is necessary to prevent excessive
speed by drivers using the four lane Road that will bisect a
densely populated residential area. The suggested speed limit
and truck restriction will minimize road noise and help insure
the safety and welfare of all the residents, in particular,
the children of the homes bordering the Road.
