Motion to not object to new <br />liquor permit for Ruby Tuesday passes 7-0. <br />Council President Limpert mentioned that he attended the Northeast Ohio City Council <br />Association presentation on November 18, 2010, which covered state funding to cities <br />next year. He also mentioned that Nicole Dailey Jones is the new Vice President of the <br />Northeast Ohio City Council Association. He provided a brief update on the Wastewater <br />Treatment Facility improvements. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane commended the Administration regarding the leaf <br />pick-up. He referenced the Council President's comments regarding the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant. He said he was at the meetings when they considered the rebuilding and <br />modernization of the plant - it would not affect the sewers north of Lorain or the flooding <br />situations there either. At the time he requested any consideration of disconnecting north <br />of Lorain and negotiating with the Rocky River Sewer Plant for a gravitational pull <br />toward the lake and not pumping it uphill. He said he would not be too quick to call all <br />shots off on that. He referenced an article in the Sun News about the Charter <br />amendments. He said the civil service duties and responsibilities, and the union contract <br />is not fully understood. Union contracts cover wages, benefits and working conditions. <br />It does not cover anything else. There's a section in the contract that defines <br />6 <br />
