Council Minutes of 11-16-2010 <br />seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-137 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-139 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in, and grant funding for, the 2011 <br />Third Grade Safety Belt Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if <br />awarded and to execute a contract with the State of Ohio Department of Public Safety, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-140 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution further extending the moratorium on the issuance of building, zoning or <br />occupancy permits for premises equipped with mechanical or electronic gaming devices, <br />video arcades or parlors, and Internet cybercafes; and further extending the prohibition <br />against certain license, similar use permit, variance or development plan approval <br />pending regulations for said facilities, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2010-140 adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-141 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in, and grant funding for, the 2011 <br />"Click it or Ticket Overtime Grant"; and further authorizing the Mayor to accept the <br />grant if awarded and to execute a contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-142 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in, and grant funding for, the 2011 <br />OVI Task Force Overtime Grant; and further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if <br />awarded and to execute a contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-143 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in, and grant funding for, the 2011 <br />"High Visibility Enforcement Overtime Grant"; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />accept the grant if awarded and to execute a contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease and amended easement with the <br />City of Cleveland and a lease with Clear Wireless, LLC. providing for the location of <br />6 <br />
